Abstract

In dieser Arbeit wird ein Übertragungssystem für Bildinhalte z.B. von Powerpoint-Präsentationen vorgestellt, welches eine zeitsynchrone und interaktive Arbeitsweise erlaubt. Ziel ist es, eine neue Technologie zu entwerfen, die besonderen Wert auf eine integrierte Interaktivität legt und dabei für multimediale Echtzeitkommunikation geeignet ist. Neben der Systemarchitektur werden Referenzmessungen einer prototypischen Implementierung vorgestellt. Diese zeigen, daß es gelungen ist, einen Regelkreis aufzubauen, der adaptiv auf sich verändernde Verhältnisse im Netzwerk reagiert. Darauf aufbauend kann über das erstellte systemunabhängige Interface unterschiedliche Multimediaübertragungen implementiert werden, die nicht nur adaptiv auf die Dienstgüte der Datenübertragung, sondern auch auf die Dienstgüte des Rückkanals für interaktive Steuerungen reagieren.
