Dr. Hossein Doroud

Short Bio

Hossein Doroud received his Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain, in 2019 and his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Islamic Azad University (Central Tehran Branch), Iran, in 2009.
In 2015, he was he was hosted by Antonio Pescapé at the Traffic in the Dipartimento di Ingegneria Elettrica e delle Tecnologie dell'Informazione of the Università di Napoli Federico II.
Besides, he collaborated with Narseo Vanilla-Rodríguez at IMDEA Network institute in 2017 as a visiting researcher.
He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Distributed Embedded Systems Group (CCS Labs) under the guidance of Prof. Falko Dressler at the Heinz Nixdorf Institute and the Computer Science Dept. of the Paderborn University, Germany.
His research focuses on Network Security and Intrusion Detection System.
